Followed this article to build my $26 dollar standing desk with these parts:

– Ikea LACK coffee table. ($13)

– EKBY VALTER Black Bracket ($3 each)

– EKBY LAIVA Black Shelf ($4)

– Cable ties for holding the wooden plank ($3, buy outside ikea)

Total cost: $26 SGD

For accessories

– magnet knife rack ($16)  for holding metalic items

– Ikea napkin holder ($3) for holding macbook air.
